RULES & GUIDELINES

  • Must be wearing a Woodtick Festival wristband to be eligible.
  • No registration fee for cook-off.
  • There are no specific categories‚Ķall items judged together. Please keep you items limited to main course dinner style items (for example: ribs, chicken wings, brisket, steak, burgers, fish, etc.).
  • All items must be prepared and cooked at your campsite using typical campsite cooking mehtods.
  • Pre-registration is suggested but not necessary.
  • Cookoff will be held rain or shine.
  • You can turn in more than one item for judging.  If you enter more than one item, please fill out a seperate entry form for each item.
  • Winners will be announced on the same day as Cook-off (Thursday).
  • All items must be handled and cooked in a sanitary manner.¬† Not doing so may result in disqualification.
  • Sauces and garnishments are permitted.
  • Judges decisions are final.
  • Items entered for judging must be at minimum, large enough for 6 samples/portions.
